“Trick or Treat”
On Halloween night Amy wanted to be a
fairy. Amy is so happy “Finally! It is
Halloween!” She is so excited to go
trick or treating and meet new friends. Her
mom told her to skip the big scary house down the street. But she went there anyway. “Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat!” Amy shouted
but no one answered. The door was
slightly opened. Thinking that she will
get more candies, she entered the house and the door shut closed. “Anybody here?” No one answers back. Looking for a way out, she found something at
the end of the hallway. “A maze? Oh no
not again!” Amy hates mazes and this time it’s not just an ordinary maze but a
big, dark maze full of spider webs, rats and bats.
Before she enters the maze there’s a boy
waving at her that needs help. He was
stuck on one of the spider webs. “Hi! My
name is Amy”. “Do you know the way out
of the maze?” she asked. “Hi Amy! My name is Jake. I can help you out but first help me get out
of this sticky web.” “Sure!” Amy
replied. Amy followed Jake. After passing so many sticky spider webs,
hungry rats and bats, together they found the way out. “We did it!” Amy screamed. Her mom & dad is already there waiting
for her at the end of the maze. Her mom
was worried and scared because Amy didn’t listen to her. “Mom I’m so sorry! I will never do it
again. Promised!” She shouted as she
hugs her mom & dad. “Mom I want you
to meet my friend. He helped me get out
of the maze.”
“No! You got out all by yourself. I didn’t see anyone with you.” Said her
dad. “Maybe you’re just hungry. Let’s go home and eat. Your mom baked some pumpkin pie.”
Wondering where Jake go, she went home
with her family because she’s so hungry.
Too bad she didn’t look up. She
could have seen Jake up in the attic window waving at her.
